About PERIIT B.E/B.Tech Course :-
The Bachelor of Engineering commonly abbreviated as (B.Eng) is an undergraduate academic degree awarded to a student after three to five years of studying engineering at university or college.B.E/B.Tech Includes- Civil Engineering : Civil Engineering in PERI IT is your stepping stone into the world of buildings and structures. Civil engineers work with the design, construction and maintenance of different structures in both public and private sectors. Civil work spans large structures like dams, bridges and multi-storey buildings to small structures such as individual homes. The vast nature of this field ensures that there is a steady demand for civil engineers.
- Mechanical Engineering : Mechanical Engineering is one of the largest, broadest and oldest engineering disciplines. It finds its application in every branch of industry including aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, building systems, energy, chemical and high-technology sectors. Because of the breadth of the field, there is always a steady demand for mechanical engineers who create the processes and systems that drive technology and industry.
- Electronics and Communication Engineering : Electronics and Communication Engineering deals with the transmission of information via various electronic channels. About MIT M.E/M.Tech Course :-
Master of Engineering or Master of Technology degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses,- Applied Electronics : The Applied Electronics program teaches students the technical background and practical skills necessary for careers in the installation, maintenance, support and troubleshooting of electronics, telecommunications and computer technology based systems and equipment. The program is structured to provide students with application-oriented electronic/electrical background, extensive hands-on laboratory experience and the use of standard and specialized test equipment. The latest & most relevant knowledge, skills and competencies including practical experience is a core part of our curriculum.
- Computer Science Engineering : The post graduate program in Computer Science and Engineering at PERI IT gives students access to multidisciplinary knowledge with a focus on total systems engineering. This course is designed to provide students with the fundamentals of computer science, hardware and software and application of engineering techniques. From that background, engineering concepts and methods are added to give students exposure to circuit design, network design and digital signal processing.
- Communication Systems : Communication systems are a daily necessity in our modern digital society with millions of terabytes of information transmitted on a daily basis. This course provides the skills to meet this growing demand. The course comprises the design and analysis of modern communications technologies, telecommunications and data network systems. The latest advances in performance, capability and practical application and design aspects are taught. We offer real life experimentation with our range of control applications including helicopter development kits and walking robots.
- Power Electronics and Drives : Power Electronics and Drives is a specialized area of Electrical and Electronics Engineering involving the control and conversion of electric power using solid-state techniques. The students are exposed to various areas including advanced power semiconductor devices, Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, fuzzy logic, artificial neural networks, analysis of power converters and inverters, solid state ac drives and dc drives, computer aided design of electrical machines, modern rectifiers and resonant converters, flexible ac transmission systems, wind energy conversion systems, power quality etc. The students will also be exposed to various simulation packages like MATLAB/SIMULINK, PSIM/ORCAD, MAGNET, PSCAD etc.

Non-Resident Indians or NRIs should fulfil the following conditions to be eligible for admission.
- The candidate should have passed in all subjects.
- The candidate should have scored minimum average of 50% in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry in their qualifying examination.
- If the candidates produce grade certificates, they have to produce either the actual marks or equivalent marks for the respective grades. In case equivalent mark range is given for grades by the respective examination authorities, only the minimum marks applicable to the grades in the eligible subjects (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) will be taken into account.
- Candidate should have studied in English Medium OR should have studied English as one of the subjects in the Qualifying Exam.
- The decision of Anna University will be final in case of any ambiguity in the eligibility criteria.
- If the candidate is applying for a M.E. degree, they should have completed a graduate of engineering degree in the same field as that of the required postgraduate degree.
