The Yellamma Dasappa Institute of Technology established in 2001, is the Yeallama Dasappa Medical College and Reserch Foundaion latest venture in the field of technical education. The institution was established with the objective of providing higher technical education, and research opportunities to the student community. With a prominent research hub, the college has opportunities for the students to pursue their studies in the fields of engineering and management.Since then, it has grown in to a premier institution in affiliation with the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, with more than 800 students. YDIT is an institution of Quality learning and is constantly in persuit of excellence.

About YDIT B.Com Course:-
B.Com(Commerce)- Stands for Bachelor of Commerce. Typically, B.Com is a three year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) with subjects such as accounts, maths and economics. Commerce consists of a broad range of interdisciplinary branches such as Marketing, Finance, E-Commerce, Accountancy, Business Administration and Economics. Subjects typically studied under this degree are Accounts, Economics, Business Law and Maths etc.Admission Details of YDIT Bangalore:-
- YDIT admits students to undergraduate programs in Engineering based on their [[Common Entrance Test Karnataka CET]] or their COMED-K UGET test ranks. YDIT also admits students under Management quota, which does not place any merit requirements.
- A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination (QE) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/BioTechnology/Biology/Electronics /Computer science as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45% marks in the optional subjects in Q.E is eligible for Engineering/ Technology programs.40% of marks is mandatory in Q.E in case of SC,ST,Category-1 and OBC category candidates.
- A Pass in PUC (10+2) or its equivalent examination with 45% aggregate marks with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects – chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics and the candidate shall have studied and passed in English as one of the subjects.
- Students who are admitted under CET , Management Quota and COMEDK Quota have to pay Tuition Fee as per Government rules
