The Yamuna Group of Institutions, Yamuna Nagar has been established by Ch. Lekh Raj Educational & Charitable Trust presently with three institutions namely (i) Yamuna Institute of Engineering & Technology (YIET), Yamuna Polytechnic for Engineering (YPE) and Yamuna Institute of Dental Sciences & research (YIDSR) in a quiet, peaceful and pollution free village Gadholi, with the objective to impart high quality professional education. Gadholi is situated on State Highway connecting an Jagadhri with Chandigarh at a distance of about 15 Km from Jagadhri/Yamuna Nagar, a twin industrial city and district town in Haryana.Shape the personality and build career of the students to become successful technocrats and high profile leaders.This calls for developing problem-solving skills and using available resources in an optimal manner. We live with these ideals and practice them in our daily life.  We inculcate in our students all those attributes by helping them discover their own inner self and their inherent potential. We instill in our students an urge and a life long commitment to be the best.Both the engineering institutions -- YIET and YPE – are approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and Govt. of Haryana. YIET is affiliated to one of the premier universities, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, whereas YPE is affiliated to Haryana State Board of Technical Education. YIDSR is approved by Ministry of Health and Dental Council of India and is affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University,  Rohtak.

About YGI M.E/M.Tech Course :-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.
