Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC), Mumbai  was established in 1985 beneath the steerage of Mahavir Education Trust. the faculty holds the excellence of being awarded with A Grade by board of directors of Technical Education DTE, geographic area. The ISO 9001:2000 certified establishments is related to to school of metropolis and approved by All Republic of India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
The mission of the faculty is to become autonomous and succeed the target of turning into a world category tutorial establishment by utilizing freedom to boost academic quality and skilled standards.
Mahavir Education Trust was established in the year 1983 with the main purpose of promoting technical education. With the help of generous donations of two main donors viz., Shrimati Laxmiben Karamshibhai Shah Trust and Shah Lalji Velji Anchorwala, a polytechnic under the name of Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Polytechnic was started in the year 1983. The trust was lucky to have the inauguration of the Polytechnic done at the hands of Shri Vasantdada Patil, the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra State.
Further, it was felt that University level education was also the need of the society. Hence Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College was started in 1985.
With the consistent efforts of a dedicated team of staff and constant support of the management, the college has established itself as one of the best colleges of the locality and has been awarded “A “grade by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State.
After having established as one of the best engineering colleges in Mumbai, the management ventured in to starting MMS course which is a post-graduation course in management sciences. Our horizon was further broadened with the inception of M.E. courses in the engineering disciplines. We take pride in announcing that our college is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute.
The management and the staff at Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering college is committed to serve the society by imparting quality technical education to the students.
